Immigration rights advocates are continuing their push to close the largest federal immigration facility in Pennsylvania after Kilmar Abrego Garcia was transferred to the center near rural Philipsburg.

Mr. Abrego Garcia, who was wrongfully deported from the United States to El Salvador before being returned to the U.S. in June to face human smuggling charges, was recently moved to the Moshannon Valley Processing Center in what is now the latest holding facility for the 30-year-old former construction worker.

The Shut Down Detention Campaign organized a protest on short notice scheduled for Monday near Philipsburg over the detainee, one of the highest profile figures in the debate over the federal government's immigration policies.
