HOUSTON (KIAH) — There are so many kids and seniors in need across the Houston area. That's why one organization, that is known for stepping up to help them, is doing it once again.

The Houston Symphony League is inviting you to take part in an event that benefits students and many other good causes.

It's called "Shop, Sip, Stroll & Dine" with proceeds from you shopping a certain retailer and having dinner will be donated to help the Houston Symphony League programs, to help those who need it the most.

The event is on Tuesday, Oct. 7 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., when people can donate to the Symphony League just by shopping at designated stores at River Oaks District during the timeframe. You can also dine at Toulouse restaurant from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 15% of their sales will go to the Hous
