CJI’s mother Kamaltai Gavai confirms she won’t attend Sangh centenary event

NAGPUR/AMRAVATI: Kamaltai Gavai, mother of CJI Bhushan Gavai, on Wednesday released a statement from Amravati, confirming she won't attend the Sangh's centenary event on October 5, citing health reasons. Social media was abuzz with Gavai's acceptance of the RSS invite. Kamaltai Gavai said she's dedicated to the Ambedkarite ideology and always believed in putting forward these views to those who did not agree. She went on to say that her late husband, Dadasaheb, also believed in participating in such events and using the platform to push Ambedkar's thoughts.
