BARRE, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Calling all animal lovers - if you're in the mood for a night of fun, the Central Vermont Humane Society (CVHS) has you covered.

The annual "Fur Fest" gala is set for October 11.

This year's event will take place in a new location at the Millstone Hill Celebration Barn in Barre Town, and the entire event goes to benefit the puppies, kitties, and more in the Central Vermont area.

Hors d'oeuvres will be provided, and there will be a cash bar featuring specialty cocktails.

The event will feature a silent auction with more than 35 items from local businesses and artists, and the night will be emceed by our own “Forever Home” duo: Alex Wasilenko and Lily Sakaniwa.
