WACO, Texas — The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo is set to return Oct. 2–12, bringing rodeo action, live music and family-friendly attractions to the Extraco Events Center in Waco.

The annual event, which draws more than 200,000 attendees, is the largest of the year for the fairgrounds and has a $70 million economic impact, according to organizers.

This year’s lineup features nine rodeo performances, including the PRCA Permit Finals, the Boot Barn Texas Circuit Finals and the Texas Chute Out Rodeo. The fair will close Oct. 12 with the Mexican Rodeo Spectacular. More than $450,000 in prize money will be awarded across the competitions.
