SARATOGA -- The Rawlins cross country teams continued their impressive season with eight new personal records in the Shana Ward Memorial Invite in Saratoga last weekend.

Not only did the runners secure PRs, they took second in the boys race and third in the girls race, placing above 4A teams. The 3A Outlaws topped teams including the higher-conference Rock Springs Tigers and Green River Wolves.

After taking first place in Rawlins' only home meet of the year, Noah Blasi set a new PR of 17 minutes, 8.22 seconds in his second-place performance. His time ranks in the top 50 of all cross-country runners in the state and is tied for the fastest time recorded in Rawlins High School history, matching a record set in 1999.
