COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- Starting today, 54 counties in Georgia are no longer under an Open Burn Ban.

Before residents burn, the Georgia Forestry Commission wants to remind residents of four things: • Space - Burn location must be no less than 25 feet from any fire fuel • Time - You must burn during daylight hours. (After sunrise and before sunset) • Attendance - If you light a fire, you are responsible and have to stay and monitor the burn. • Precaution - Take precautions to prevent your fire from spreading.
