ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A North County woman was charged Monday with arson after police say she intentionally set her upstairs neighbor’s door on fire over noise.

St. Louis County Prosecutors charged La’kassha A. Sleydin with first-degree arson and endangering the welfare of a child. Sleydin was arrested on Monday, according to court records, and held on a $7,500 bond.

According to a probable cause statement, around 6:30 a.m. on Monday Sleydin took a tablecloth runner and nailed it to the front door of her upstairs neighbor’s home. Sleydin then took a lighter to set the cloth on fire. The cloth then caught the door, the only exit to the second-story apartment, on fire.
