DUNN CENTER, N.D. — On the morning of Sept. 30 at about 7:07 a.m., two commercial straight trucks were involved in a motor vehicle accident on North Dakota Highway 200, east of Dunn Center, according to a press release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP).
The truck traveling westbound, driven by a 29-year-old male from Heidelberg, Miss., allegedly crossed the center line and collided head-on with a truck traveling eastbound, driven by a 63-year-old male from Fargo.
The collision caused the eastbound truck to tip onto its side and slide into the south ditch. After the crash, the westbound truck came to rest blocking both lanes of traffic.
The driver of the westbound truck is facing several charges, including driving under suspension, a Class B misdemeanor; reckless endangerment,
