DICKINSON — A Dickinson police officer was allegedly assaulted Saturday night by Madison Paige Robey, 33, of Dickinson.

Robey allegedly kicked and kneed the officer, who was acting in an official capacity, causing the officer to fall down a flight of stairs and suffer pain, according to court documents.

Robey was subsequently arrested and charged with simple assault on a police officer, a Class C felony. Class C felonies carry a maximum $10,000 fine and a five-year prison sentence under North Dakota Century Code.

Her appearance bond was set at $1,500 with a deposit of $300 in cash. If she posts bond, she will be required to participate in a 24/7 sobriety program.

At publication time, Robey was not listed on the Southwest Multi-County Correctional Center’s publicly available bond report
