MIDDLEBURG — A Shamokin Dam man accused of assaulting a woman will face a Snyder County jury later this month.

An Oct. 15 trial is scheduled for Ronald A. Childress Jr., 45, who is charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault, strangulation and misdemeanor terroristic threats, unlawful restraint and simple assault for allegedly strangling Nicole Patnaude and threatening her with a butcher knife on May 30, 2024.
