The 4th Street Bridge, a key connector between Covington and Newport in Northern Kentucky, will close in three months for demolition and remain closed for over two years until a new bridge is built.

Wilson explained that the new bridge will be constructed in the footprint of the existing bridge. The demolition of the current bridge will begin this winter, leav
