HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Holyoke Community College celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month on Wednesday with a Latinx Fiesta, showcasing the history and culture of 21 different countries.
The event was held at the college's campus center and featured cultural elements such as food, music, and art, providing students and attendees with a taste of diverse Latinx traditions.
"We're all so different, but at the end of the day, we all have so much in common in where we come from, the language, the food," said Jaden Salas, a freshman at HCC.
Adalie Rodriguez, another freshman, expressed her newfound appreciation, saying, "There's so much that I didn't even know before I came here, but now I get to experience it all at HCC."
