A dental practice wanting to expand its premises due to “significant unmet demand” for NHS treatments has been granted the change of use planning permission it sought. Roseberry Dental Practice, in Guisborough , was described in a planning application as the only practice in the town currently taking on adult NHS patients.

Applicant Malmin Healthcare NE Ltd proposed extending into a residential property next door . A planning statement submitted to Redcar and Cleveland Council said the current premises in Westgate were at full capacity and there was significant unmet demand for NHS dental services in the area.
