ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (WKRG) — A major move is underway from Orange Beach to Perdido Key, and it's not just the homeowner packing up — she's taking the whole house with her.

"Oh my god! I'm gonna cry, this is too much to look at, y'all!"

Moving day, two years in the making, and finally here for Kylee Kubat. "Oh my God, the vertical blinds are like moving."

The two-story house that has stood along Cotton Bayou for more than four decades is kind of her dream home.

"It's timeless," said Kubat. "It's art. Somebody designed it, and I just like the design. It stands the test of time."

Built in 1981, she first spotted it when she was just a kid. "I saw this house and its triangle windows, and I was like, I love that house."
