State Treasurer Larry Pack has called on Governor Patrick Morrisey and members of the West Virginia Legislature to follow the lead of President Donald Trump.
Federal policy allowing workers to deduct qualified tips and overtime from tax returns went into effect earlier this year. The treasurer said implementing a similar policy on the state level could offer huge benefits to West Virginia workers. "West Virginia [has] got a lot of blue-collar workers.
