GRAND FORKS — Last week, for the first time in UND men's golf coach Todd Schaefer's six-year tenure, the Fighting Hawks won a Division I meet and beat North Dakota State.

The event started in Fargo on Wednesday and will be at Grand Forks Country Club, starting at 10 a.m., in Grand Forks on Thursday.
In the first half of the dual, the teams tied at 298. UND was powered by a 73 from Grand Forks native Carson Skarperud. The Hawks withstood a 69 from Bison senior Jake Ska
