ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- Plan your travels accordingly for lane closures planned for Interstate 690.
The New York State Department of Transportation is alerting drivers that I-690 westbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 10 (N Geddes Street) and Exit 12B (NY 297/Amphitheater/Fairgrounds/Solvay) in the City of Syracuse and the Town of Geddes in Onondaga County from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 2.
The reduction will take place to facilitate bridge work.
Construction activities are weather-dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
You are also reminded to use caution when driving through the work zone area, and to pay attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.
