SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Tuesday former Syracuse basketball legend Lawrence Moten passed away at the age of 53.

Wednesday his former coach, Jim Boeheim reflected on the legacy of the man known as 'Poetry in Moten.'

"Lawrence was the perfect teammate, and player to have in our Syracuse program. We lost a great player, and a great part of the Syracuse basketball family," said Boeheim.
