LITTLE RIVER-ACADEMY, Texas — The Academy ISD employee who was arrested on Monday, Sept. 29 for Displaying Harmful Material to a Minor is now facing more charges.

After further investigation, the Bell County Sheriffs Office announced on Wednesday, Oct. 1 that William Anthony Blackburn Sr. is being charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, Indecency with a Child by contact and Indecency with a Child by Exposure. His bond is set at $560,000.

Blackburn, an employee with Academy Independent School District's maintenance department, was taken into custody without incident in Killeen. He was booked into the Bell County Jail after Justice of the Peace Cliff Coleman issued an arrest warrant on charges of Display of Harmful Material to a Minor.
