HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Crews worked to clean up a fuel spill spanning 2.5 miles of a Holland Road Wednesday night, according to the Holland Department of Public Safety.

The spill stretched along the southbound lanes of Michigan Avenue, which turns into Washington Avenue, between the intersection of Michigan Avenue and W 22nd Street to the intersection of Washington Avenue and Matt Urban Drive.

In a social media post, HDPS advised drivers to be cautious in the area.

It’s not clear what led up to the spill or how long it would take to clean up.
