INDIANAPOLIS — Google's plan to put a massive data center on property on the east side is now officially off the table.
Representatives for the company formally withdrew the petition Wednesday.
Announcement of the change in plans first came last week , just ahead of a critical vote by the Indianapolis City-County Council.
The company could re-petition for the rezoning after three months. That clock started Wednesday. After the three-month timeout, any entity can issue a new zoning request with the city.
