GALESBURG, Ill. (KWQC) - A woman is facing drug and firearms charges after deputies said they found more than 900 grams of suspected meth in a Galesburg home.

Deputies searched a home in the 300 block of East 5th Street on Tuesday, according to a media release from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said deputies found:

More than 900 grams (1.9 pounds) of suspected methamphetamine

Firearm and ammunition

Digital scales and packaging materials

11 preloaded syringes with suspected meth

Prescription pills

Psychedelic mushrooms

Cash

Deputies said Amanda Temple,42, was taken into custody and charged with:

Acquire/possess a firearm/stun gun/taser without a FOID

Unlawful use/possession of weapons, felon/other prohibited person

Unlawful possession of firearms/firearm ammunitio
