Two shooters affiliated to the Goldy Brar gang were arrested in Delhi after a gunfight with police on Thursday. According to sources, comedian Munawar Faruqui was reportedly their target.

The shoot-out took place on the Jaitpur-Kalindi Kunj Road. Police have identified the two criminals as Rahul from Panipat and Sahil from Bhiwani, who were associated with the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar-Virender Charan organised crime syndicate.

According to information, Rahul was involved in a triple murder in Yamuna Nagar in December 2024 and had been on the run, as his identity had not yet been established.

In recent days, both Rahul and Sahil, acting on orders from gangsters Rohit Godara, Goldy Brar, and Virender Charan, had been plotting the murder of a social media influencer, reportedly Munawar Faru
