Brenna Buraszeski, Savannah De Barros and Brooke Bredeson scored a goal apiece for Rutgers Prep, ranked No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, as it won its seventh consecutive game to open its season by a score of 3-1 over Bridgewater-Raritan in Somerset.

Rutgers Prep built a 2-0 halftime lead before trading goals with its opponent in the second half. Eva Castro, Kyrah Lormil and Blair Vera each tallied an assist for Rutgers Prep (7-0).

Bridgewater-Raritan drops to 4-6 and will return home for its next match, against Montclair, on Saturday.
