The 48th annual Colorado West Marching Band Invitational was held on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Stocker Stadium.

The competition was a preparation festival for the CBA Western Slope Regional State Qualifying event, which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16 also at Stocker Stadium.

Eleven western Colorado bands competed in the double field show competition with the preliminary competition, which was divided by school classification, followed by the finals, which was an open class format.
