A job description has gone viral for its extreme list of requirements, with many people online slamming it as “toxic” and “dystopian”. The ad, posted for the role of a founding engineer, demanded candidates willing to work seven days a week, reply to messages at 3 am and put work above everything else.

A screenshot of the posting was shared on Reddit by a user who admitted he still applied despite recognising the company was asking for too much. “Although they have the same requirements for every opening. I did apply since I was desperate for a job,” the user explained.
