In just over a month, UNC basketball will tip off the 2025-26 season against Central Arkansas inside the Smith Center.

Before the games count for the Tar Heels in their fifth season under head coach Hubert Davis , there are two scrimmages and two exhibition games on the October schedule.

Fans can get their first look at UNC’s roster, which features 11 newcomers around senior guard Seth Trimble , on Oct. 4 during the Blue-White scrimmage on Roy Williams Court. Admission is free and tip off is scheduled for an hour after the end of the UNC-Clemson football game, which kicks off at noon.

Following the Tar Heels’ intrasquad scrimmage, UNC will continue practice before taking part in fan events and another scrimmage on Oct. 17-18 in Cherokee and an exhibition game against BYU on Oct.
