CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) - Major League Baseball has announced that game three of the American League Wild Card Series between the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Guardians will begin at 3:08 p.m. on Thursday afternoon at Progressive Field.

The game will be televised locally on WYTV-33.

Following the Guardians' 6-1 victory in game two, the series is currently tied 1-1.

Right-handed pitcher Slade Cecconi will start for Cleveland against Detroit's Jack Flaherty on Wednesday.

The winner of Wednesday's series finale will advance to face the Seattle Mariners in the American League Division Series which will begin on Saturday.
