WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - A Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas judge has granted a temporary restraining order on an OHSAA ruling that blocked Ursuline students who transferred from playing football at another high school.

Attorneys for three students who transferred from Ursuline High School to play for Girard High School argued that they were not among those alleged to have been part of the misconduct that caused Ursuline High School to cancel the rest of its football season, and only transferred after the decision to cancel the season had been made.

Ursuline had canceled its season after playing just two games in the wake of a pair of lawsuits filed last month claiming students had been hazed and harassed by members of the team.
