Thursday started in the 40s and peaked near 70 degrees. It started to feel like fall for a change, but it doesn't last long. Friday will continue seasonable and dry before warmer air returns for the weekend.

The warmth returns by the weekend with highs rebounding near 80° (roughly 10 degrees warmer than average), which continues into the start of next week.

A cold front will move through the area on Wednesday to bring a line of showers. Rain amounts could vary, but the likely outcome could produce near a quarter inch of rain for some. once the front clears, we'll enjoy a few days of cool air before warm air returns. This process is likely to continue
