October is here, but it sure doesn’t feel like it in Houston.

If you’re hoping for relief from the heat, there’s a small chance for a sprinkle or two to develop east of Houston by Thursday afternoon, and a possibility of thunderstorms by Friday evening and into the weekend.

Thursday will be another sunny day with afternoon high temperatures in the mid-90s. Humidity is still low.

From the looks of it, we will see more days with temperatures in the mid to low 90s, stretching all the way through the work week and into the weekend.
