TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)—Hurricane Imelda is expected to move away from Bermuda over the next several hours, while the National Hurricane Center monitors two disturbances in the Atlantic.

Imelda is located about 80 miles east-northeast of Bermuda and is moving toward the east-northeast near 30 mph.

This general motion is expected through tonight before a northeastward motion on Friday and Saturday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 90 mph.

Imelda is expected to become an extratropical low later today, with gradual weakening thereafter, the NHC said.

A Hurricane warning is in effect for Bermuda.
