PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A car went airborne and smashed through the window of a home after a crash in the Frankford section of Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Oxford Avenue, Horrocks Street and Kenwyn Street.

According to police, the driver of a light-colored Toyota had stopped at a stop sign and was continuing westbound on Oxford Avenue when a speeding dark-colored Honda ran the stop sign and collided with the Toyota.

The impact sent the Honda airborne, crashing into the bay window of a home on Kenwyn Street. The facade of the two-story house collapsed onto the vehicle, leaving only the tail end exposed.
