Daniel Armer took part in Manchester United first team training at Carrington on Wednesday.
Armer, 17, was put through his paces with the senior group as they prepared for Sunderland. United draft in academy players to supplement first team training when Ruben Amorim requires extra numbers. Armer was given the opportunity to make the step up and missed the Under-21s' game against Lincoln.
Last week, Jayden Ngwashi was promoted to first team training. The 16-year-old is one of the most highly rated defenders in the academy and got a taste of working with the senior group.
Ngwashi made his league debut for the Under-18s at the beginning of March and was handed his debut for the U21s just a few weeks later.
