Space Center Houston remains open despite government shutdown

HOUSTON (KIAH) — As the government shutdown continues, NASA Space Center Houston will stay open to the public. According to officials, the center operates as an independent, nonprofit science and exploration facility.

While some activities like VIP access to the NASA Johnson Space Center, have been temporarily suspended, public tram tours to the Space Center and educational programs are still operating according to their regular schedules.

It's important to note that Space Center Houston serves as the official visitor center for the NASA Johnson Space Center.
