Bareilly: Authorities in Bareilly and surrounding districts have imposed a strict security clampdown ahead of Dussehra festivities. The Home Department has ordered a 48-hour suspension of mobile internet, broadband, and SMS services from 3 pm on October 2 until 3 pm on October 4.

A high alert has been declared across four districts in the Bareilly division — Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, and Budaun. Security personnel, including the police, Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), and Rapid Action Force (RAF), have been deployed on the streets. Drones are also being used to monitor the ski
