BirdFest & Bluegrass is 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 4 in downtown Ridgefield and at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge , featuring nature walks, live bluegrass music, and shopping from local artisans and vendors. Browse the vendor market and children’s entrepreneur market from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Hear live music and join spontaneous jam sessions around town from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. Take a free dragon boat paddle from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The refuge will be open and fee-free for the day.
