KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say they're investigating two separate shootings in Kalamazoo.
The first shooting happened around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday on Ada Street near Burrell Avenue. According to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, a man was shot and injured. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.
A few hours later, around 1:55 a.m. Thursday, police said a man was shot on N. Westnedge Avenue near Bessie Street. He, too, suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police didn't specify what led up to either shooting. News 8 has reached out to KDPS to learn more.
