Coronation Street fans have been left emotional after spotting a 'full circle' moment for Lisa Swain as the actress who plays her was given a major boost.

Vicky Myers was revealed to have picked up two gongs at the 2025 Inside Soap Awards, which took place on Monday (September 29) night.

The actress went home with the Best Actress award for her portrayal of the Weatherfield detective sergeant, a role she has held since 2021, before being made a more prominent face on the cobbles in March 2024.

For the accolade, Vicky was seen beating off stiff competition from Lacey Turner (Stacey Slater, EastEnders ), Beth Cordingly (Ruby Miligan, Emmerdale ) and Isabelle Smith (Frankie Osborne, Hollyoaks).

She was also recognised for Best Partnership alongside her on-screen partne
