FARGO — Some 200 veterans from the region woke up in their own beds on Wednesday morning, Oct. 1, hours after returning from another incredible Honor Flight trip.

For three brothers who grew up on a farm near Rollag, Minnesota, the journey to Washington, D.C., was a chance to bond with each other and other Vietnam-era veterans.

"We're family," Clifford Bang said. "Unbelievable, we had so much fun on the trip, but it is unbelievable that all these people came here for us (veterans)."

"We had a lot of fun but we can't tell you everything, but we had a good time," Clifford said.

Clifford and Bruce served in Europe as the war in Vietnam began. Next was younger brother John, who left Rollag for Vietnam.
