They also promoted the drug leucovorin, a derivative of vitamin B9 typically used to help with the side effects of chemotherapy, as a “cure” for children who display autistic traits.

These claims have been denounced by scientists around the world , with Autistic Self Advocacy Network releasing a statement on behalf of multiple advocacy organizations calling for “quality science and compassion for the autism community.” So too have Kennedy’s previous suggestions that vaccines can be linked to instances of autism.
