An Oxford man has been arrested after a woman reported discovering a hidden camera in a bathroom at a local business, according to the Oxford Police Department.

Police say officers responded on Sept. 27, 2025 and collected the device, which was turned over to investigators. Through their investigation, detectives identified Zachary Alan Young, 37, of Oxford, as the suspect. An arrest warrant was issued for four counts of Secretly Photographing for Lewd Purposes.

Young was arrested on Sept. 30, 2025 and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center. He was given a bond by a Municipal Court judge. Authorities did not immediately release the bond amount.
