Impacted Capital One customers have just a few hours left to file disputes related to a $425 million settlement that is expected to be approved next month. The settlement is related to claims that the financial services holding company froze interest rates for Capital One 360 savings accounts despite interest rates increasing nationally.

While those accounts were being frozen, Capital One is accused of allowing the similar Capital One 360 Performance Savings accounts to hit interest rates of 4.3%. A class-action lawsuit filed in the manner accused Capital One of withholding $2 billion in interest payments to those with a Capital One 360 savings account. The company was also accused of not alerting those customers of the higher-earning account.
