Craig Casey earned rave reviews for his performance as captain in Munster’s opening weekend win over Scarlets, but the Ireland scrum-half will miss Saturday's clash with Cardiff after injuring his thigh.

New coach Clayton McMillan had hoped that a new approach to training would keep the injury toll down at the province who’ve had to cope without large chunks of their squads at various points in the last two seasons, but already he is missing key players.
