Despite rumors circulating on social media, Erewhon is not opening a store in Boston . But the luxury grocery chain will start shipping products to the city very soon.

It all started when Erewhon shared a cryptic Instagram post on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The post featured photos of maps of several cities — including Boston — with the caption that originally read, “A Taste of Erewhon in Your City. Coming soon.”

This sent the internet ablaze with social media users thinking that Erewhon was opening a store in Boston and other cities. However, the company later changed the caption to “A Taste of Erewhon Shipping to Your City. Coming soon,” for clarification.
