COLUMBUS, Ohio — A new restaurant is set to replace the former home of Milestone 229.

Columbus chef Josh Dalton is set to open the new restaurant, located at 229 S. Civic Dr., in spring 2026.

The eatery will feature Mediterranean cuisine, intended to connect ancient coastlines from Barcelona to Lebanon.

The menu will feature small plates, dips and spreads with reimagined entrees spanning the Mediterranean coast.

Dalton has multiple restaurants in the Columbus region, including Veritas, SPECK Italian Eatery, Rosalita’s and Rosebud’s. He opened his first central Ohio restaurant, 1808 American Bistro, in 2007.

The menu will also feature Dalton’s signature cocktail and wine offerings and include drinks designed to take advantage of the Center City DORA.
