Bhubaneswar : East Coast Railway (ECoR) observed Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Swachh Bharat Diwas with great reverence and community participation across its jurisdiction today.

On the occasion Parmeshwar Funkwal, General Manager, East Coast Railway, led the celebrations by offering floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, recalling Bapu’s timeless message of truth, non-violence, and cleanliness.

The day was marked with a Prabhat Pheri rally, in which officers, staff, and railway employees enthusiastically participated, spreading Gandhiji’s ideals and the importance of cleanliness among the public. In line with Bapu’s call for dignity of labour, large-scale Shramdan activities were carried out at railway stations, offices, workshops, hospitals and colonies.
