London Euston train station has now reopened after being closed due to an "operational incident".

At around 2:45pm, travellers were ordered to evacuate Euston Station amid concerns of a "serious" incident and all trains have were "suspended".

Hundreds of people left the station this afternoon after being alerted to a security incident. Images from the scene show travellers waiting outside with police vehicles being spotted outside.

Transport for London (TFL) announced the station was closed "due to a security alert."

Avanti West Coast, who run trains out of the station wrote: "Due to a security alert at London Euston, the station has been evacuated, and all services in and out of the station have been suspended until further notice".
