LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule said his team is focused on its upcoming game against Michigan State. The Michigan loss is old news.
“They played a Big Ten game (and) lost by three,” Rhule said. “They’ve ignored the results and said ‘Hey, what can we improve?’”
Nebraska suffered its first setback of the 2025 campaign, 30-27, on September 20th. A bye week following that game caused some lingering feelings across Nebraska’s fan base, but not in the locker room, according to Rhule.
“We’re facing a team that went through the same thing we went through,” Rhule said. “They lost a ball game (and) had a bye week. It’ll be a heckuva football game.”
Nebraska and Michigan State are scheduled to kick off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised
